I am a proud apple powerbook owner now. 2 minutes ago I clicked on the 'place order' button and now eagerly awaiting shipping of the powerbook.
Thanks shaadi and ET for all the help and thanks to others who helped me decide which one to buy :)
Only glitch is they are still shipping 'panther' with all the laptops. I will have to buy 'tiger'.

Tiger's slated for next month release, right? Hum yahaan office mein bhi bated-breath ke saath intezaar kar rahe hain! :D It's being considered a panacea because of some of the unsolved bugs here! :-)))

panther and tiger are code names for mac os x versions. panther is an old version and tiger is the latest one. An upgrade is available for $129 but I think mujhe $10 ka mil jaayega cause I recently bought the laptop.
