I finished reading Foundation's Edge, Foundation and Earth and Forward the Foundation. I am thinking of reading rest of the books related to this series and hence I have started reading Caves of Steel.

Wodehouse and others have taken a back seat till Asimov Mania recedes.

oh i just finished reading three robot novels (there are only three, right?). It definitely gives you better insight into the background of the foundation universe.

Someone once showed surprise when he found out that I had just read some Asimov books. He seemed to think that Asimov is something only kids read. He said something like "oh, they are definitely good. But most people read them when they are kids"... I wonder why... I still find them quite engrossing.. maybe they could've been better written, but whatever ideas there are, deserve to be read regardless of the age of the reader... hai na?

ET, Following is the list of books "related" to foundation series in one way or other.

Caves of Steel
Naked Sun
Robots of Dawn
Robots and Empire
Currents of Space
The Stars, Like Dust
Pebble in the Sky
Robot Dreams

Daya hai us bande ka.. Asimov kabhi bhi .. kahin bhi padh sakte ho.. infact I would say that in my second reading I noticed quite a lot of things that I didn't see/understand in my last reading.

I didn't read Asimov when I was a kid, but I am sure that I wouldn't have made sense of a LOT of stuff back then.. I am not even sure I would have enjoyed it.. You can not appreciate usage the word 'positron' untill you have read some history of science :-)

In one of the prefaces, Asimov talked about these robot books and relation to Foundation series... Look for that text :D .. wikipedia had a good page on that.

Will see if I can get RDB songs..
