Palm Beach Road

Drove to Palm Beach Road between Vashi and Belapur today, surprisingly we didn't get any traffic on the way (including in Powai). The road is good but I think it's rather over-hyped, I was expecting a good view of creek but none was available.

The trees and shrubs on the divider looked good but this looked like any other "decent" road in western countries. The road itself was 'pothole-free' for nearly 10 kilometers and that is indeed an achievement for an Indian road. ;-)

Just saw the story about Amitabh's most famous dialogues on BigOye and wished him a happy birthday on his blog.

Waiting to see the videos of Coulthard driving an F1 car on Bandra Worli Sealink. And also planning to go for IIT Bombay Alumni vs. current team's basketball match today. (Anyone wants to come along?)

I went to American Express Bakery (Bandra) yesterday with some friends and saw some 'really' old advertisements from the establishment. They had adverts dating back 1930s, no wonder Amex Bank couldn't get them to change the name.
